Hi !
I realised that I needed to do some work on my stash of cards... I gave my mom a chance to pick out cards she'd like to use and I sent off another box of cards to From Our Hearts and now I need to make up some cards for me to send! My circle of friends is generally past the baby stage, but I like to have extras of cards just in case... So I made up a couple baby cards. I used a sheet I made up years ago with a technique called Double Time. The stamps used for this background are all from Stampin' Up!
This first card is 5x6.5". I cut the inside stamped background panel 4.5x6" and wrapped a green ribbon around it, accenting it with 3 mini baby pins. The image is a free download from Crafts on the Net. Isn't she cute!? I love giraffes! I coloured her in with my watercolour crayons and a water pen.
This card is 6.5x5". I cut the inside stamped background panel 6x4.5" and wrapped a green gingham ribbon around it, accenting it with 3 mini baby pins. I did a swap of House Mouse images years ago and this is one of the images I got. I coloured in 2 same images with my Stampin' Up markers, then cut out the two mice and the bottle and pop dotted them. I accented the bottle with Crystal Effects to make it more bottle like. I then cut out the image and a mat with Spellbinders Labels 23. Finishing touch is a "Welcome, Baby" stamp by Stampin' Up! in the bottom corner. And another baby pin in the corner of the mat.
