Time Reminder

Hello!

It's 'time' for a reminder post for Quirky Craft's current challenge.  'It's About Quirky Time' is the challenge, therefore pick out something time related and have fun!  We are being sponsored by the Cutting Café this time and were provided with some fun files.
For this project I continue with my alphabet tag project and used some scraps, and a nice quote that was included in our kit.
I started with a Prima tag from one of their tag pads and then used a Tim Holtz stencil and black Embossing Paste to add a dimensional layer.  Different metal pieces, charms, and a scrap from last week's project then the quote was die cut and distressed before adhering to the tag.

Trim all around the edge and mat onto black card and voila!  A Time Tag!

I like to use up as much of my scraps as possible when making cards.  I mean, the colour coordinating is done, put them together in a different way and we have another card in a fraction of the time!

The card base for this is an old one from Magenta.  Precut windows out of different earth coloured cards.  This one is black.  I added the 'time' word collage background behind the window.  One of the quotes was ripped out and sprayed with my colour spray, then adhered to the front.

The inside is covered with ripped white paper for ease of writing a legible message.  In the seam is a scrap of the sprayed clocks background and overlapping that is the second half of the quote.  "There's no time like the present to tell you... how much I love you"

Hugs!
