New beginnings, new projects, new resolutions!
Now that I have had some R&R with my hubby this Christmas holiday, I am renewed to continue to play and share with all of you!
Today I am starting a month long online prompting course called Creative Jump Start 2014. I did this last year and it really motivated me to go outside my comfort zone a bit and just be creative! You're not too late to join in on the fun if you wish. She decided to charge a nominal fee this year and I still jumped at it! (sorry, pun not intended) It really is worth the time and cash. As I need to share something with all of you, here is my Christmas card for 2013...
I cut and embossed Blue Iris Shimmer Sheets by Elizabeth Craft Designs (3x5") with Sizzix Merry Christmas embossing folder and then matted it on white card stock (3.25x x 5.25"). Wrapped navy blue cardstock with a strip of blue Magenta Maruyama ribbon then adhered the above matted papers. The candles (Elizabeth Craft Designs Candle Peel-Offs) were placed on glitter covered double sided Sookwang sheets, coloured in with Bic markers then cut out. Then I simply peeled off the back and adhered to the front of the card.
