Steampunk time!

We've gotten all kinds of weather here lately... -30C, freezing rain, snow, +2C, sun... it's enough to make a body cry! (For those who do not know, I have Fibromyalgia and changes in weather DO make our body ache)  So I've not been too creative, but intend to start up again... Just Because!

This is a card I made for a friend of mine before Christmas.  Rhea is an amazing person with a dream come true basement FULL of scrapbooking and stamping product.  If you get a chance check out her place:

I really enjoy the look of Steampunk and combined a few different companies' product to make this card.  I had just received the paper and some of the stamps/dies from Heartfelt Creations and was dying to use them (sorry for the pun!)  The steam butterfly is by Cherry Lynn, used on old Micheals shimmer cardstock.  I also used a large Gear Assembly die from Memory Box to cut out a vellum layer between the butterfly and the background.

And voila!

And I am trying to get used to decorating the inside of cards now too!
See you next week!
